Overview

Jurnal Rekayasa Industri (JRI) (ISSN: 2714-8882 (Print), 2714-8874 (Online)) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal managed and published twice a year by the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Widya Mataram. JRI is dedicated to disseminating high-quality original research findings, empirical studies, and technological developments across the broader field of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management.

JRI accepts submissions of original research articles, review papers, and short communications from academics, researchers, practitioners, and students worldwide, provided they meet rigorous scientific standards.

Focus and Scope

Jurnal Rekayasa Industri (JRI) publishes scientific articles covering a broad spectrum of industrial engineering topics, including but not limited to:

  • Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC): Production planning, scheduling, inventory control models, and manufacturing systems design.

  • Ergonomics & Work Study: Biomechanics, occupational health and safety (OHS/HIRARC), work measurement, cognitive ergonomics, and work system design.

  • Supply Chain Management & Logistics: Supply chain optimization, distribution networks, logistics modeling, and procurement management.

  • Optimization & Mathematical Modeling: Operations research, computational system simulation, heuristic methods, and Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).

  • Product Design & Development: New product development, Quality Function Deployment (QFD), value engineering, and design for manufacturing.

  • Manufacturing Facility Design: Facility layout design, material handling systems, and industrial plant location planning.

  • Information Systems & Data Analytics: Industrial information systems architecture, business process modeling (DFD/UML), enterprise resource planning, and data mining applications in industry.

  • Maintenance & Reliability Systems: Equipment maintenance management, reliability engineering, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

  • Financial & Asset Management: Engineering economics analysis, cost estimation, capital budgeting, and industrial asset lifecycle management.

  • Human Resource Development & Industrial Policy: Organizational performance measurement, human resource strategies, and industrial policy studies.

Jurnal Rekayasa Industri (JRI) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All published articles are freely accessible online without financial, legal, or technical barriers, permitting users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full texts, provided the original work is properly cited.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment for scope, formatting, and plagiarism check. Manuscripts meeting the basic criteria are subjected to a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process conducted by independent reviewers to ensure objectivity, scholarly accuracy, and publication quality.

Copyright and Publishing Rights

Authors retaining the copyright to their work published in Jurnal Rekayasa Industri (JRI) grant the journal the right of first publication. Authors also retain unrestricted publishing rights to their work.
