Integrasi Kawasan Candi Plaosan Lor dan Candi Plaosan Kidul dengan Inovasi Desain Streetscape Koridor Komersial

Kawasan wisata Candi Plaosan memiliki koridor area komersial yang terbangun secara organik oleh masyarakat setempat. Candi Plaosan memiliki keunikan karena terpisah menjadi dua kompleks, Candi Plaosan Lor dan Candi Plaosan Kidul. Koridor area komersial wisata Candi Plaosan memiliki potensi untuk mengintegrasikan dua kompleks Candi Plaosan yang terpisah sebagai koridor penghubung antara dua kompleks candi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk secara kritis mengkaji koridor area komersial jalan diantara Candi Plaosan Lor dan Kidul serta mengkaji inovasi streetscape yang dapat diterapkan pada koridor area komersial tersebut sehingga berdampak pada citra visual dan sosial ekonomi kawasan wisata Candi Plaosan. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui observasi lapangan, pemetaan fisik dan wawancara. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan adanya pemanfaatan koridor komersial yang mampu berimplikasi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat namun demikian perlu adanya penataan yang memadai sehingga terintegrasi dengan Kawasan cagar budaya dan tidak merusak situs. Rekomendasi berupa inovasi streetscape di koridor tersebut terutama melalui lima aspek, yaitu feasibility, accessibility, safety, comfort, serta pleasure ability.ÂReferences
