Melestarikan nilai, merancang masa depan Kawasan Kraton Yogyakarta

Maraknya perkembangan kota diikuti dengan semakin tingginya perubahan karakteristik kawasan perkotaan. Perubahan kawasan kota, terutama yang memiliki nilai sejarah yang tinggi, ditandai tidak hanya oleh perubahan tetenger fisik namun juga adanya perubahan persepsi dan pilihan bentuk pemanfaatan atas bangunan ataupun kelompok bangunan yang ada di kawasan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan telaah literatur dan amatan lapangan atas Kawasan Kraton Yogyakarta menunjukkan bagaimana proses perubahan tersebut terjadi dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhinya.
